The Embassy’s Development Assistance Office manages the United States Government (USG) financed development assistance programs in Togo. These diverse programs provide grants to development projects designed to promote and support the process of democratization in the country, to increase HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, to promote human rights, and to improve basic living conditions for the Togolese. Thousands of Togolese have benefited from these programs and have seen improvements in their health, economic situation and standard of living.


Programs:

This program assists communities with development projects in the form of small grants (less than $10,000). The time required for implementation should be short and the projects small.

This program is designed uniquely for construction projects such as school buildings, orphanages, health centers, etc.

A leading force behind Togo’s declining military HIV rates in recent years, DHAPP works in close partnership with the Togolese Armed Forces (FAT) and the NGO Association des Militaires Anciens Combattants Amis et Corps Habilles (AMACACH) to carry out a broad range of programming, including testing counseling, and prevention of mother to child transmission.

Opportunité de financement au Togo pour un programme de prévention du VIH / SIDA financé par le Département américain de la Défense. Ce programme de prévention du VIH / SIDA recherche un partenaire de mise en œuvre pour travailler avec le ministère togolais de la Défense au cours des 4 prochaines années.
