The US Embassy in Togo organized a special information session on studies at Lane Community College in the United States on January 16, 2020, as part of the visit of the. This session called “Parent’s Night” allowed participants to familiarize themselves with the conditions of admission to American universities, the opportunities, the registration procedures and the preparations. Public Affairs Officer (PAO) and Vice Consular Officer in attendance, responded to the audience questions and encouraged them to follow the required steps to study in the US, especially the mastering of the English language.  On the same visit,  Carla Anderson got opportunity meet with the Deputy Chief of Mission Harry Sullivan, some students, and the Higher Education Officials, discussed some areas of partnerships to support Togo applicants to Lane.
