MG Darryl A. Williams exchanges awards with COL ADJITOWOU Komlan during a May 15 meeting in Lome.

MG Darryl A. Williams, commander of U.S. Army Africom, visited Lome on May 15, where he discussed the U.S.-Togo military relationship with top Togolese officers, including Deputy Chief of Defense Staff COL Komlan Adjitowou and Kouma Biteniwe, cabinet director of the Ministry of Defense. Togo’s military has been a strong partner for the United States in areas such as peacekeeping missions and maritime security.
